By pursuing your Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from our accredited accelerated nursing program, know you’re receiving a degree that will be recognized by top healthcare providers located in Texas and nationwide. Institutions of higher learning will also accept your BSN should you choose to pursue a graduate-level nursing education.
University Accreditation
The University of St. Thomas is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees. State Approval in Texas
The Carol and Odis Peavy School of Nursing meets the approval of the Texas Board of Nursing (BON), a state entity that provides approval for more than 200 nursing education programs. Established in 1909, the mission of the Texas BON is to protect the public from unsafe nursing practices.
Nursing Accreditation
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at the University of St. Thomas is accommodated by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
