By pursuing your bachelor’s of science in nursing from our accredited accelerated nursing school, you too will know you’re receiving a degree that will be recognized by top health care providers in Texas and nationwide. Institutions of higher learning will also accept your BSN should you choose to pursue a graduate-level nursing education.

The University of St. Thomas is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters and doctoral degrees. State Approval
The Carol and Odis Peavy School of Nursing meets the approval of the Texas Board of Nursing (BON), a state entity that provides approval for more than 200 nursing education programs. Established in 1909, the mission of the Texas BON is to protect the public from unsafe nursing practices.
